Appointments can be made by telephoning the relevant surgery. In order to help us to provide you with the best possible service, as resources are limited, we ask you to note the following important information.
If you have booked an appointment and you can no longer attend or need it, please call the Surgery and cancel your appointment so as others will benefit. Each appointment is for one person only. If you wish for another person to be seen at the same time please inform the Receptionist when making the appointment in order that a second appointment can be made.
If you cannot attend Surgery for housebound reasons or anything preventing you from leaving your house, please ask for a home visit from one of our GP's before 10:00 hrs.
Our Receptionists are usually the first point of contact and are here to help you. They have a lot of information to hand and in most cases will be able to help with your enquiry, ensuring you see the most appropriate clinician. Nonetheless, it is your right to request to talk only to the doctor. Anything that is discussed with the Receptionists, or any other member of the Team, is treated in the strictist confidence. You have a right to be treated courteously, and our Receptionists also have the right to be treated courteously by you.
Please respect the privacy of other patients, by standing well back from the reception desk until your turn.
Whatever the day or time, if you or someone else experiences severe chest pain, loss of blood or suspected broken bones, go to your nearest Accident and Emergency Department or call 999.
